Sambhal: A teacher was arrested after allegedly instructing a Muslim student to physically harm a Hindu classmate, leading to an unfortunate incident where the Hindu student was assaulted for not answering a question. On Tuesday, a heartbreaking incident unfolded at a private school located in Dugawar village within the jurisdiction of the Asmoli police station in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh.
The abuse became apparent when the father of the fifth grader filed a complaint, revealing that his child had been struck in the face. ASP Shrish Chandra stated that teacher Shaista has been arrested by the police based on the complaint filed by the father under sections 153A and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.
The father explained to the police that his son was unable to answer the question, and the teacher compelled him to physically assault his own son alongside a Muslim student, which deeply offended his son’s religious sentiments. ASP Chandra confirmed that the investigation into the case is currently underway.
