Bengaluru : In a tragic incident, a 48-year-old woman lost her life, and her husband sustained serious injuries after a speeding car, allegedly driven by Kannada actor Nagabhushana, struck them. The incident occurred on Saturday night at around 9:45 on Vasanthapura Main Road in South Bengaluru. The actor was on his way from Uttarahalli to Konanakunte. The car that initially struck the couple crashed into an electric pole.
The deceased were identified as Prema Krishna (48), a resident of Vasanthapura. Husband Krishna (58) is currently undergoing treatment for injuries to his leg, head, and stomach. According to police sources, Nagabhushana himself took the couple to the hospital. An FIR was registered at the Kumaraswamy Traffic Police Station in Bengaluru. The actor was arrested but later released.
