Thiruvananthapuram: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan joined in a dance with differently-abled children at the SG Special School in Melemukku, Kuttichal, located in Thiruvananthapuram district. The occasion was marked by a special performance where the Governor, who was initially in the audience, got excited by the rhythm and joined the students on stage. It evoked applause and cheers from the crowd.

The students and the Governor danced to the tune of a harvest song. The Governor expressed his belief that those who extend their support to differently-abled children will always find blessings from God.

The visit to SG Special School was a realization of a promise made by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan when the students of the school had earlier visited the Raj Bhavan. He had assured the children that he would personally visit their school, and he fulfilled that promise.

During his visit, Governor Khan engaged with the children in various ways. Flowers, sweets, and cakes were brought for the students, and he shared cake with them. The governor also took the time to talk to each child individually.

A video capturing Governor Arif Mohammad Khan dancing with the differently-abled children was posted on the governor’s Facebook page.
