Youth stabs lover at home, slits own throat in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: In Nemom, a young man, identified as Deepak, brutally stabbed his lover, Ramya Rajan, in the neck. After this, Deepak tried to commit suicide by slitting his own throat. Both are currently receiving treatment at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.

Deepak and Ramya have been close to each other for four years. The incident took place when Deepak visited Ramya’s house this morning. He asked Ramya to come with him, and she refused. After this, Deepak attacked her with a knife that was in the house.

Hospital authorities have indicated that Ramya’s condition is critical. The Nemom police have registered a case and started an investigation.
