Kozhikode: Kozhikode’s National Institute of Technology (NIT) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for research and collaborative projects in Japan. A delegation from NIT Kozhikode visited Japan as part of the India-Japan cooperation initiative led by the Central Government. During the visit, the NIT team established partnerships with Japanese industries and universities. According to Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director of NIT Kozhikode, this collaborative effort will enhance skill development and create employment opportunities.

The MoU was signed with Nehan Technologies Private Limited, Japan, focusing on skill development, job opportunities, and internship programs. Prof. Prasad Krishna also noted that these MoUs will facilitate the planning and execution of joint research, educational initiatives, field studies, and consultancy projects in India, Japan, and other countries. This collaboration aims to promote industrial training on Japanese campuses for NIT Kozhikode students, as well as to provide infrastructure facilities like incubation centers at NITs and the implementation of joint projects, awareness programs, exhibitions, and various other activities.”
