Nedumkandam: Landslides struck the region of Nedumkandam in Idukki following heavy rainfall last night. No casualties have been reported. Approximately one acre of farmland has been completely washed away. The farm land of Pachadi Chowelkudiyi Vinod was destroyed in the landslide. The situation remains critical as there is an imminent threat of another landslide in the area, which poses a risk to nearby residences and roadways.
