Nine-year-old boy found dead in a garbage pit

Thrissur: A nine-year-old boy was found dead in a garbage pit in Thrissur. The boy, who tragically lost his life was identified as John Paul, the son of Rijo, a native of Kottekkad. John Paul, a fourth-grade student at St. Mary’s LP School in Kottekkad, had gone out to play on his bicycle at around 3 pm yesterday.

After he went missing, a search led by local residents resulted in the discovery of the child in a waste pit belonging to a private company. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the child could not be saved. The police suggested that the bicycle may have overturned, causing him to fall into the garbage pit. John Paul is survived by his parents, Rijo Johny and Sana, as well as his sisters Neha and Diya Rose.
