Alappuzha: A young man, Rajeev, a resident of Karipuzha, Pallippad in Haripad, has been apprehended by the excise department for possession of 10 litres of liquor intended for sale. The arrest followed information indicating illegal liquor sales.
The Alappuzha Excise Anti-Narcotics Special Squad, under the guidance of Mahesh, conducted the operation. The team, led by Preventive Officers Gopakumar, Prasannan, Grade Preventive Officer Sajimon, and members Reni, Dileesh, Rahim, Arun, and Reshmi, successfully apprehended the suspect.
