Thief steals gold necklace in Thrissur

Thrissur: A necklace was stolen by threatening with a knife. The crime unfolded at Sobhana Purushothaman’s house in Perinjanam Kuttilakadavu, Cochinparam. Shobhana’s daughter Preeju’s three and a half-sovereign necklace was stolen. When Shobhana and Preeju’s son moved to lock the gate, an intruder who had been lurking outside entered the house. He put a knife against the neck of Preeju, who was alone in the house, broke the necklace, and ran away. The thief abandoned the knife at the location and escaped from there. The Kaipamangalam police have started an investigation into this incident.
