Kochi: A distressing incident unfolded in a government school in Kochi, where a third-grade girl from Assam was reportedly molested by her teacher within the classroom. The Ambalamukal police, responsible for investigating the matter, claims that the accused teacher is currently absconding.
The incident happened last day, and the details emerged when the child, experiencing pain in her private parts, confided in her mother. Concerns are being raised about the perceived lack of police interest in apprehending the accused, with their focus seemingly limited to recording the child’s statement and registering the FIR.
Despite receiving information that the accused teacher in the case is frequently visiting the house and the surrounding area, the police maintain that the accused is untraceable. There are also allegations that the accused, a government school teacher, is receiving assistance from the police in obtaining anticipatory bail.
