Thiruvananthapuram: Planning Director of the Kerala Agricultural University(KAU), Dr. Ani S Das (59), collapsed and died during a live program in Doordarshan on Friday. Dr. Ani S Das was a native of Kottarakkara.
While participating in the program at around 6:30 pm, he collapsed after experiencing uneasiness. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved.
Ani S Das had been serving as the Executive Director of the Centre for Bioresources and Agricultural Services. He was the Managing Director of Kerala Livestock Development Board (KLDB), Kerala Feeds Limited and other state government undertakings.
