Ahmedabad: Radical Islamists who threatened Ram devotees returning from Gujarat to Ayodhya have been apprehended. Asghar Khan and his son issued threats to Neil Patel and Dev Patel, who were cycling to Ayodhya from Gujarat.
The incident occurred in Sarangpur, Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh. After interrogating the youths carrying saffron flags, Asghar Khan and his son warned them, stating, ‘You will not reach Ayodhya alive; you will be bombed to death.’
Neil Patel recorded the incident on his mobile phone. The threatened youths informed Hindu organization workers, who then filed a complaint with the Sarangpur police. Following an investigation, both accused individuals were arrested.
