Idukki: In the Vandiperiyar rape and murder case, charges have been filed against the victim’s father based on a complaint by Paulraj, the cousin of Arjun, who was acquitted by the trial court. The Vandiperiyar police registered the case against the father with the permission of the Peerumedu court. According to the complaint, Paulraj alleges that the child’s father had assaulted him.
Earlier, Paulraj was arrested by the police following the child’s father’s complaint that he had stabbed him. The incident occurred when the child’s father and grandfather were riding a bike, and Paulraj made obscene gestures, resulting in their altercations.
