Malappuram: Vigilance authorities have arrested a doctor of a government hospital for working at a private clinic during his scheduled duty hours at the government hospital. Dr. Abdul Jaleel P, Assistant Surgeon at the Government Family Health Center in Kuzhimanna, Malappuram district, was arrested by Vigilance.
Vigilance Department officials arrested Dr. Abdul Jaleel while he was working at a private clinic in Mampad during his duty hours at the government hospital without completing his duties at the government hospital.
Vigilance officials reported that they conducted an investigation following complaints that Dr. Abdul Jaleel would not attend to or treat patients at the Government Family Health Center in Kuzhimanna.
