Palakkad: PM Arsho, the state secretary of SFI (Students’ Federation of India), expressed anger towards a JanamTV reporter following questions regarding the death of Siddharth, a student at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) in Pookode, Wayanad. Arsho was provoked when asked for his opinion on reports linking SFI to Siddharth’s death.
The reporter’s query, implying organizational responsibility for criminal acts such as rape and murder committed by SFI members, provoked Arsho. He vehemently denied any association with the incident, dismissing it as media manipulation. Arsho accused the media, opposition parties, and the governor of deliberately spreading misinformation.
Additionally, he explained that Siddharth’s father’s assertions about SFI’s involvement stemmed from his distress upon hearing the news. He asserted Siddharth’s active involvement in various SFI activities and claimed evidence of his participation in SFI events.
