Srinagar : Even though we may see a plastic cover in front of us, most of us are hesitant to pick it up and put it in the waste basket. Dr. Nathani, from Srinagar, Uttarakhand, serves as a role model for all by being contrary to such people.
Nathani, who practices as a doctor, takes his car out in the morning and evening to collect and clean up all the garbage on the road. He has been carrying out this work for the last 10 years, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi serving as his inspiration.
Dr. Nathani said that since the day the Prime Minister assumed office, he had been trying to convey the importance of personal hygiene and community hygiene to every person. He mentioned that the Prime Minister gave the message to clean public spaces and maintain cleanliness through Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, which inspired him to start collecting and disposing of waste.
Nathani says that 80 percent of his patients suffer from diseases due to a lack of hygiene and emphasizes that personal hygiene is essential. After the doctor’s actions went viral on social media, many people came to appreciate him.
