Jalaun: A statue of Mahatma Gandhi was vandalised by unidentified miscreants which was installed at Sri Gandhi Inter College in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. The police said that the statue was desecrated on Friday.
The statue was installed in 1970 and on Friday morning statue’s torso was dismantled from its body.
Locals believe that this misconduct has been done by those who are against Gandhi’s ideologies. The police have said that it will register an FIR and action will be taken.
