New Delhi: Maldives Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid on Wednesday said that the Indian parliament represents the will of the people and that Male will not comment on the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill passed in the Lok Sabha.
“It is an elected Parliament. Parliament represents the will of the people. That is not for us to comment. Parliament will do its work,” said Shahid.
The discussion over CAB is underway in the Rajya Sabha after it was passed in the Lok Sabha.
