New Delhi : Supreme Court has announced its judgment on the medical college entrance. The court cancelled the permission for admission to the college granted by the High Court. The Verdict was on the basis of the plea submitted to the Court by the Medical Council. The Supreme Court has observed that Wayanad D.M, Palakkad P.K Das, Thodupuzha Al Asar, Varkkala S.R the medical colleges lack even the basic facilities. The verdict cancelled the admission of 550 seats.
The bench of Justice Arun Mishra and Vineeth Sharan had articulated the verdict of the Supreme Court. The college management and the State Government had argued for a verdict in favor of the admissions, as all the admission procedure to the four colleges were completed. At the time of hearing, the court had criticized the management multiple times for not having the basic facilities.
