Abu Dhabi: Indian nationals can now travel to UAE with any type of country’s valid visa, said Indian Ambassador to UAE Pavan Kapoor. Until now, permission was granted only to those having UAE Resident Visas.
“Very pleased to see the @MoCA_GoI notification this evening as per which both Indian & UAE airlines can now carry any Indian national holding any type of valid UAE visa from India to UAE!,” he tweeted.

Last week, the ambassador had said, “Since the UAE has recently started issuing new visas, we have recommended to authorities in India to consider allowing Indians with valid visas to travel to the UAE. We are hopeful for an early decision.”
The flight services had been suspended between India and UAE since five months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
