Chennai: MLA Ku Ka Selvam was dismissed on Thursday from the primary membership of the party and from all other positions he held. The party stated that he indulged in anti-party activities.
Selvam was recently suspended from the party after he met BJP national president J P Naddda in New Delhi on August 4. After that he also took part in a puja at the BJP office in Chennai on the day of Bhumi Pujan of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Selvam had raised allegations against DMK on the issue of “family dominance” in the DMK and said seniors like him had no future in the party.
DMK said in a statement that Selvam’s explanation for his actions was not satisfactory.
