Panjim: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on Sunday at a Press Conference in Goa said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a bigger thought for the nation.

“Due to GST we got One nation, One tax, with farm Bills we’ll get One nation, One market, National Testing will give us One nation, One exam and we have announced One nation, One ration card too,” he said.

PM @narendramodi ‘s vision will fulfill dream of #EkBharatShreshthBharat. Due to #GST we got 'One nation,One tax',with farm Bills we'll get 'One nation,One market'. National Recruitment Agency will give us 'One nation,One exam' & we have announced 'One nation,One ration' card too

Lashing out at Punjab government, the Minister said, ” Where are protests happening in India other than in Punjab? That too is happening because of their government otherwise it has ended everywhere. In reality, farmers have welcomed the farm Bills.”

“The biggest misfortune of our farmers is that the middlemen who do not produce get more price than the farmer who produces; voices are being raised against the reforms since the new laws hurt the interests of middlemen,” Javadekar said.

The Minister said that apart from agricultural laws, the Central Government has introduced Soil Health Card which provides scientific assessment of farmers’ land.

“Apart from agricultural reform laws, Govt. has introduced Soil Health Card; 20 crore farmers have benefited from this, which provides scientific assessment of their land, tells them which crops and fertilizers are best suited for their land,” he said.
