New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and the Former Union Minister Buta Singh, 86, passed away on Saturdays.
The leader’s son Arvinder Singh Lovely took t Facebook inform the news of the death. “My father passed away today morning. May Waheguru bless his soul”, read the post.
Buta Singh was the former Union Minister of home Affairs in the Rajiv Gandhi government from 1986-1989. A four-time MP from Jalore-Sirohi Lok Sabha Constituency, Singh was also the National President of Scheduled Caste Commission.
