Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun will be renamed after Vajpayee

Dehradun : Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is going to be named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The resolution in this matter has been passed in Winter session of the Uttarakhand Assembly, in the present situation the State legislature awaits the permission from The Minister of Civil Aviation. The decision was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Trivendra Singh Rawat Chief minister of Uttarakhand. Jolly Grant Airport was  built in 1947.
