Tenga Valley (Arunachal Pradesh): In a joint effort, the Indian Army and the District Administration of West Kameng District came together to inaugurate the Amrit Sarovar in Tenga Valley, Arunachal Pradesh, as part of the government’s Mission Amrit Sarovar initiative. This project aligns with the guidelines of the Government of India and focuses on rainwater harvesting and community empowerment, with the main objective being the conservation of rainwater to ensure water security in the region.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the General Officer Commanding Gajraj Corps, the local formation based at Rupa, and the District Commissioner (DC) of West Kameng district.
