Headmaster beats up children who took leave; around 50 students under age of 10 brutally beaten

Ranchi: Approximately 50 students who had missed classes were reportedly subjected to physical punishment by the school’s headmaster. According to claims, the educator administered this punishment to students ranging from pre-school to Class 5, lining them up for the act. The incident came to light after a concerned parent reported it.

Allegations suggest that, despite explanations from the students that their absence was due to their participation in a village event called the Kalash Yatra, the teacher purportedly chose to discipline them through physical means.

Furthermore, it is alleged that the children were threatened not to divulge the incident to their parents. However, when the parents were apprised of the situation, the headmaster denied the accusations. The headmaster countered the claims by asserting that the children’s account was inaccurate and that they hadn’t been subjected to any physical punishment.

As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement authorities are diligently probing into the matter.
