Mumbai: A tweet from Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has stirred significant attention. Today, the actor posted a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) with the message, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” in Hindi, accompanied by our tricolor flag. Following Amitabh’s tweet, numerous fans expressed their support and extended their congratulations to the veteran actor.

This tweet comes in the wake of criticism by Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, who pointed out that invitations to the G20 summit dinner at Rashtrapati Bhavan were addressed in the name of the ‘President of India.’ This prompted a groundswell of support for the use of the name ‘Bharat,’ with many prominent individuals endorsing the sentiment.
