Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir: In a recent development, security forces successfully neutralized another terrorist in an encounter that took place in the Uri town of Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir. The police reported this incident on Saturday via a social media post on X, formerly known as Twitter. The Kashmir Zone Police stated, “1 more terrorist killed (Total 02). The search operation is in progress. Further details shall follow.”
The encounter unfolded in the Hathlanga forward area of Uri on a Saturday morning. Earlier, the police confirmed the elimination of one terrorist during the encounter, with the search operation continuing.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, has resumed its operations for the fourth consecutive day in the Gadole forest area within the Kokernag region of Anantnag district. Their mission is to apprehend terrorists believed to be “holed up” in the hilly terrain of Anantnag district, with reports suggesting the presence of 2-3 such individuals.
