New Delhi: Philipp Ackermann, the German Ambassador to India, said that Germany will enhance visa services for Indian citizens. Expressing satisfaction over the quick visa processes, Ackermann said that visas for Indian citizens to Germany are now obtainable within a short duration.
“In the last few months, our efforts have focused on granting visas to Indian citizens travelling to Germany in a very short time. The time for obtaining a visa has been reduced to a maximum of 5 days,” stated Philip Ackermann.
He further added that facilities were made to enable smoother travel from India to Germany compared to previous years. Philipp added that in the coming years, Germany will continue to increase visas and other facilities and make services easier to access. He expressed delight in the participation of delegates from Germany in the G20 summit hosted by India. He further said that the bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi led to agreements on several projects aimed at fortifying India-Germany relations.
