Gandhinagar: A diamond merchant from Surat, Gujarat, has crafted a diamond necklace resembling the iconic Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The necklace, fashioned with 5,000 American diamonds and two kilogrammes of silver, mirrors the structure of the Ram temple.
“It is not meant for commercial sale but to be dedicated to the Ram Temple.” The diamond merchant said that they had made it with the intention of giving some kind of gift to the Ram temple.
Every Hindu devotee in the country is eagerly waiting for the day of the Prana Pratishtha (bringing life to the temple) ceremony, which is set to commence in Ayodhya. The pre-ceremony of Prana Pratishtha for Ram Lalla (representing the infant form of Lord Rama) is scheduled to commence on January 16.
On January 22, at 12:45 pm, the idol of Ram Lalla will be ceremoniously consecrated in the shrine of the Ram Temple. This inauguration is accompanied by a series of 13-day-long rituals held within the temple premises. The event is expected to witness the participation of over 7,000 dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
