Several train routes in Bharat offer breathtaking views of nature, leaving a lasting impression on passengers’ minds. Here are some must-visit train routes that promise to give a wonderful experience.

Kalka-Shimla Route:

The Kalka-Shimla train journey is a must-do for every traveler. Travelling through the historic streets of Shimla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this 96-kilometre route treats passengers to beautiful views of the Himalayas. Including 102 tunnels and 82 bridges, it’s a visual feast for nature enthusiasts.

Jalpaiguri-Darjeeling Journey:

For those seeking Darjeeling’s charm, this 78-kilometre journey takes you through the picturesque landscapes. The train passes through Siliguri Town, Siliguri Junction, Sukna, Rongtong, Tindharia, Mahanadi, Kurseong, Tung, Sonada, Ghum, Jorebungalow, Rongbuk, and Batasia Loop. The eight-hour Jalpaiguri-Darjeeling journey promises scenic vistas and a delightful experience through charming locales.

Delhi-Mumbai-Maharajas’ Express:

 

The Maharajas’ Express presents a grand tour through five states: Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. Spanning six nights and seven days, this journey showcases iconic landmarks such as Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Mumbai, offering an exploration of India’s cultural heritage.

 

 

Mumbai-Goa Mandovi Express
