Chennai: Actor Suriya has stepped into the world of cricket ownership by owning the Chennai team in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). The star himself shared this news with his fans through social media.
“Vanakkam Chennai! I am beyond electrified to announce the ownership of our Team Chennai in ISPLT10. To all the cricket enthusiasts, let’s create a legacy of sportsmanship, resilience, and cricketing excellence together,” shared Suriya in his post in ‘X.’ The post also included a link to register for the ISPL.
This follows actor Ramcharan Teja, who recently revealed his ownership of the Hyderabad team. Other prominent Bollywood figures involved in ISPL ownership include Amitabh Bachchan for the Mumbai team, Hrithik Roshan for the Bengaluru team, and Akshay Kumar for the Jammu and Kashmir team.
