Jaipur: Jaipur airport authorities received an alarming email on Wednesday from an anonymous sender, threatening to blow up the airport. The police were immediately notified, and the anonymous message explicitly stated an intent to target not only Jaipur but also additional airports. Anurag Gupta, the terminal manager, swiftly lodged a complaint at the Jaipur Airport police station.
In response, airport authorities activated security protocols, alerting the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and other security agencies. A comprehensive search operation ensued, with a bomb disposal squad on standby. As of the latest reports, there is no official confirmation of any explosive device being found during the thorough examination. Nevertheless, the airport has implemented heightened security measures, including enhanced screening procedures.
