Nagpur: The Congress party has released a barcode ahead of its rally in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The initiative aims to urge people to contribute to the crowdfunding campaign ‘Donate for Desh’ (Donate for the Nation).
The barcode is displayed on posters pasted behind every chair at the rally venue. These posters also display an appeal along with Rahul Gandhi’s image. A pamphlet accompanying the barcode poster carries a message that says, “In this struggle of 138 years for the formation of a better India, Congress needs you. India needs you. Scan now to donate.”
It was also announced that the top five contributors would receive a certificate of appreciation from Rahul Gandhi.
