Thiruvananthapuram: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has refuted a fake video circulating on social media, where he is seen endorsing a gaming application that supposedly promises to earn money. In the fabricated video, Tendulkar appears to be praising the application, claiming unawareness of the newfound ease of making money and mentioning his daughter’s use of the platform.

Taking to social media, Tendulkar posted the video along with a message firmly rejecting its authenticity. In his statement, he expressed deep concern about the misuse of technology and the spread of misinformation.

These videos are fake. It is disturbing to see rampant misuse of technology. Request everyone to report videos, ads & apps like these in large numbers.

The cricket icon emphasized that the video is entirely fake and urged people not to be misled by such deceptive content.
