Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Kuber Tila within the Ram temple premises in Ayodhya on Monday, offering prayers to Lord Shiva. During his visit, he performed a ‘jalabhishek’ (ceremonial water offering on the ‘Shiva linga’) and conducted a ‘parikrama’ (circumambulation) around the temple.

The ancient Shiv temple, situated on Kuber Tila within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, is currently undergoing renovation by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the organization responsible for the construction of the Ram temple.
