Bihar CM Nitish Kumar congratulates LK Advani on Bharat Ratna award

New Delhi: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met former Deputy Prime Minister and senior BJP leader LK Advani at his residence today. Nitish Kumar visited LK Advani in person to congratulate him on receiving the Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian honour.

Earlier, Nitish Kumar wished Advani over a phone conversation and through social media, X. Nitish Kumar stated that Advani’s contribution to nation-building was inspiring and that he was fortunate to work with him during the Vajpayee government.

On February 3rd, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced through his social media X, that LK Advani would be conferred with the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award of the nation.

In his social media post, PM Modi shared that LK Advani is one of the most respected politicians of the country has ever seen, and being awarded the Bharat Ratna was an emotional moment for him.

Modi also spoke to LK Advani and congratulated him on being conferred this honour.
