Southern Railway confirms changes in departure times of two trains

New Delhi: The Ministry of Railways has changed the timing of the departure of two trains in Southern Railway division . The departure time of Thiruvananthapuram-Central-New Delhi Kerala Super Fast Express and Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central Mail have been changed.

The Southern Railway has confirmed that both the Thiruvananthapuram-Central-New Delhi Kerala Super Fast Express and the Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central Mail will adhere to a new schedule. The revised timing will come into effect on July 15.

Here are the updated times:

Kerala Express 12625

The departure time of Kerala Express 12625 from Thiruvananthapuram was initially scheduled for 12:30 am, but it has been changed to 12:15 am. The revised schedule includes alterations until Thrissur.

The new timetable from July 15 is as follows: Thiruvananthapuram Central at 12:15 am, Varkala Sivagiri at 12:54 am, followed by a series of stations including Kollam at 13:17 p.m. , Kayankulam at 13:53 p.m., Mavelikkara at 14:04 pm. , Chengannur at 14:06 p.m. , Thiruvalla at 14:27 p.m. , Changanassery  at 14:37 p.m., Kottayam at 14:55 p.m. , and Vaikom Road at 15:23 p.m. . The train will then reach Ernakulam Town at 16:05 p.m. , Aluva  at 16:30 p.m. , and finally reach Thrissur at 17:27 pm.

The schedule of Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Mail, train number 12623, has also been changed. The train, currently departing at 19:45 from Dr. MGR Chennai Central, will now depart at 19:30 from July 15th onwards.

Departure from Dr. MGR Chennai Central: 7:30 p.m. The train will reach Katpadi at 21:13 p.m., Salem at 23:53 p.m., Erode at 12:50 a. m., Coimbatore at 2:22 a.m., Palakkad at 3:37 a.m. , Thrissur at 4:40 a.m., Angamaly at 5:30 a.m. , Aluva at 5:45 a.m. , Ernakulam Town at 6:20 a.m. , Thrippunithura at 6:44 a.m. , Changanassery at 8:02 a.m. , Thiruvalla at 8:13 a.m. , Chengannur  at 8:25 a.m. , Mavelikara at 8:39 a.m. , Kayamkulam at 8:50 a.m. , Kollam at 9:45 a.m. , Varkala Sivagiri at 10:09 a.m. , Thiruvananthapuram Pettah at 10:44 a.m. , and Thiruvananthapuram central at 11:20 a.m.
