Thiruvananthapuram: According to reports, three talented players from Kerala, Aneesha Cleetus, Sreekala, and Pranav Prince, are set to showcase their skills on the international stage as they represent Bharat in the 7th edition of the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2024. The prestigious tournament will be held at the renowned OCBC Square in the Singapore Sports Hub from March 27 to 31.
Aneesha Cleetus and Sreekala, both from Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), along with Pranav Prince, who is currently employed at Indian Bank in Chennai, will be among the key players aiming to bring glory to the nation during the event.
This marks the third consecutive year that Singapore is hosting Asia’s premier 3×3 basketball competition, promising thrilling matches and fierce competition among participating teams.
The women’s team from Bharat, featuring Aneesha Cleetus, Sreekala, Pushpa Senthil Kumar, and Kavya Singla, has been placed in Group C alongside Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, and the Northern Mariana Islands. On the other hand, the men’s team, comprising Pranav Prince, Principal Singh, Arvind Muthu, and Pratap Singh Sekhon, finds themselves in Group D, competing against Malaysia, the Maldives, and Macau.
