Kottayam: Traffic restrictions are in place in Kottayam district due to the construction of an underground road in front of Kottayam Medical College. Starting from April 2, vehicular traffic is completely prohibited on the Arpookara – Ammancherry Road in front of the medical college.
Authorities have informed that vehicles will not be allowed to pass through this route until the construction work is completed. Public vehicles and ambulances needing to use this route should go through the Arpookara bus stand, while other small vehicles should take the Kudamaloor-Mannanam road.
