New Delhi: After the Idukki Diocese screening, film director Sudipto Sen responded to the screening of the film ‘The Kerala Story’ in many places. He emphasized that the film should not be politicized and took to X to urge everyone to stand firm against terrorism in the country.
In a post on X platform, Sudipto Sen expressed his thoughts, stating, “We know, #TheKeralaStory broken almost all the records of Indian cinema… for us, the most important thing is that it touches so many hearts globally that even after a year of release of the film, people are talking about it… People are coming up with large range of sociological theories and arguments. A few days back, I wrote , “we are in the lookout of new haters because all our old haters are now turned into our biggest admirers.” Sad part is, few raddarless politicians who did not see our film, yet using it as their political tool”.
“Please don’t politicize one of the most important films of our time. Once again, I invite you all, irrespective of your political ideologies – watch The Kerala Story and stand by the daughters of our country and say an emphatic no to the sinister terror design against our country”. – said Sudipto Sen.
