Kochi: Time allotted for flat owners to vacate flats is ending today.The state government and Maradu corporation have already informed that time will not be extended and electricity as well as water supply will be disconnected by tomorrow.
Meantime, some flat owners who are still staying in the same flats have reiterated that they will not vacate the flats unless rehabilitation arrangements are done properly. Flat owners have asked to extend the the deadline till 10th October. On the other hand, the government and the Maradu corporation have denied this demand.
Rehabilitation has been arranged for all flat owners who have asked for the same,told District Collector S Suhas. The four flats will be handed over to the companies for demolition on 11th of this month.
