Panthalam : Sabarimala women entry backed by CM : A democratic decision that questioned the very existence of democracy in the state.
CM who came up with another statement delivering the same fact as before, that women entry to Sabarilmala will be done trampling upon lakhs of devotees’ emotion,faith and belief. The speech by CM earlier this day had questioned the actions of thantri and the authority of Panthalam Family on Sabarimala.
This is when Panthalam Palace Executive Committee Chairman PGS Shashi Kumara Varma came up with an answer to CM. He said the state Government with its aids tried to destroy the custom and thereby the beliefs which eventually nullified in front of the strong will of the devotees.
When devotees are facing a problem the state was supposed to protect than not to suppress them, Varma shared his thoughts with Janam TV. He added the response from the CM might be what his advisers taught him.
CM criticized and insulted the Panthalam Royal Family. He blamed Thantri for declaring the temple will be closed if anybody breaks the custom or the tradition of the Temple. CM added that the Thantris and the Royal family tried to overthrow the court orders.
The sole ownership of Sabarimala and its complete authority is upon TDB. CM nailed the fact that he at his best will try to hurt the feeling of the entire state and beyond just to implement the court order for fewer activists and non-believers.
