Thiruvananthapuram: M S Mani, veteran journalist and the Chief Editor of Kalakoumudi passed away this morning. He was seventy nine.
M S Mani breathed his last at his residence at Kumarapuram, Thiruvananthapuram. He was under treatment for geriatric diseases.
M S Mani served as the Chief Editor of Kerala Koumudi for many years. He is the grandson of the founder editor of Keralakoumudi, C V Kunjiraman and the son of former Editor K Sukumaran. Mani was one of the pioneers in investigative journalism in Kerala.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled the demise of M S Mani. The last rites will be performed at his residence at 5 pm today.
