Thiruvananthapuram : The police authority had decided that they will take into custody anyone,in advance, from Sabarimala on suspicious grounds. To be more clear anyone who seems to be at Sabarimala to protest against Women entry will be behind the bars. The devotees will be permitted for darshan only via Neelimala, Appachimed or Sharamkuthi from Pamba to Sannidhanam. After darshana the exit is only through the road.
1850 policemen including Commandos have been deployed for security. The region bares ban under section 144. Besides police’s surveillance cameras, 12 phase detection cameras are also placed, at Nilakkal, Pampa, Sannidhanam and Kananapatha.
The temple will be open by 5.00pm tomorrow, till Tuesday night 10.00pm. Udayaasthamana Pooja, Padi Pooja, Kalabhabhisheshekam and other special rituals will be performed.
