Thiruvananthapuram: In an appreciative effort, Balagokulam children handed over Rs 4.5 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
A total sum of Rs 4,63,087 was collected from Balagokulam in various districts.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday praised them and all others who contributed to the Relief Fund.
Rs 57,85,056 by various co-operative banks, institutions and individuals in Varkala constituency, Rs 25 lakh by Kozhikode Kakkattil Rural Co-operative Bank employees with their salary and bank share, among others donated to the Disaster Relief Fund.
