Thiruvananthapuram: State police chief Loknath Behra informed that each police station will issue inter-district travel pass to people amid lockdown. People who want to go to other districts in case of emergency can avail the passes at the nearest police station.
The official website of the Kerala Police have published the format of the travel pass application.
To get the travel pass from police, a downloaded application form must be filled up and submitted before the station house officer. Email applications are also welcomed.
Doctors, Nurses, Media personnel need not apply for such travel pass.
The travel pass is valid only between 7 am and 7 pm. Except for medical purposes, no one is allowed to travel after 7 pm.
The Police chief has also requested to maintain social distancing while travelling. He has also directed all the district police chiefs to strictly implement the order.
