Thiruvananthapuram: Chairman of Mahatma Gandhi National Foundation in Pala, ABJ Jose has filed a complaint against S Hareesh, who insulted the Indian Army via social media.

The complaint has been forwarded to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan.

Jose in his complaint pointed out that Hareesh in his social media post has defamed the Indian Army, saying it is a “section” that does not benefit society. In his post, Hareesh also claims that soldiers have killed most of the humans and by bombing or firing no virus will be killed.

The Foundation has sought action against Hareesh for his defamatory remark on the soldiers. In the complaint it said that, Hareesh has resorted to deliberate humiliation of the constitutionally established Indian Army.

Earlier, Hareesh’s novel ‘Meesha’ was published with anti-Hindu references that had sparked controversy. He had portayed the whole women community and those women visiting the temple disrespectfully. ‘Mathrubhumi’ had published this controversial novel in its weekly magazine, leading to widespread protests.
