Idukki: The findings say that bawdy images of the clergyman was leaked when his mobile phone was given for service. Following the incident, the Idukki diocese has come forward to take action against him. The action will be taken against Ex-Vicar General of Syro Malabar Church Idukki and Vellayamkudi Church Vicar James Mangalassery.
The bawdy footage of James with a housewife, who is also a Church committee member has been doing rounds on social media. Some parishioners were suspicious that the housewife, a mother of two children, was secretly attending church during the lockdown.
At this time, the vicar accidentally happened to give the damaged mobile phone to the nearest mobile shop. The videos were leaked after giving the mobile phone in the shop.
Kattappana police said they have not filed a case since neither the priest nor the housewife filed a complaint in connection with the incident.
