Thiruvananthapuram: A woman was gang-raped after forcibly giving liquor by her husband and his friends in the capital city. The police have nabbed all the accused in connection with the case.
The woman was taken to a hospital at Chirayinkeezhu after she fell unconscious and according to doctors she was brutally raped by the gang of men.
The incident happened on Thursday evening at 4 when her husband took her to a house at Puthukurichi. The woman managed to escape from the house and stopped a vehicle. Following this, the natives came to know about the incident.
Thereafter, Kadinamkulam police came and took her husband into custody.
The woman’s statements can be recorded only when she regains consciousness, said the police.
